Closer co-operation between the European Union and India is essential for encouraging effective, structured and coherent international scientific co-operation in social science and humanities disciplines at a global level.
The EU-India platform, therefore, intends to further expand, including other organisations as associate members. Associate membership in the platform is open to all organisations – governmental or non-governmental funding agencies – based in India, in the EU Member States, as well in Associated Countries to the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (Horizon 2020).
Associated members will be able to participate more closely to some of the activities of the consortium, with some of their participation costs covered through the project grant’s funds.
